Timing of event

Timing of Events in Vedic Astrology

In Vedic astrology, the timing of events is primarily determined using the Dasha system:

  • Dasha indicates the broad trend or promise.

  • Bhukti adds specificity to the nature of the result.

  • Antara narrows it down to short-term possibilities.

This layered approach allows for a structured assessment of timing, from long-term influences to short-term outcomes.

STEP 1: Confirm All 3(atleast 2 if not) Period Lords (DBA) Support the Event

Step 2: Examine the Transit of DBA Lords

Check the real-time transit positions of the following:

  • Dasha Lord

  • Bhukti Lord

  • Antara Lord

You are looking for the following key indicator:

Are any of these planets transiting a Nakshatra whose Star Lord is connected to event-supporting houses?

Pay special attention to:

  • Whether two or more of the transit planets are passing through Nakshatras ruled by a planet that signifies the same houses as the DBA lords.

This alignment is referred to as a “transit resonance”—a powerful confirmation for the timing of an event.

Step 3: Pay Attention to the Moon’s Transit

The Moon is the fastest and most sensitive planet in KP astrology. Its transit often acts as the final trigger for event manifestation.

Watch for when the Moon transits:

  • A Nakshatra ruled by a planet connected to the relevant event houses

  • A house signified by the DBA chain (e.g., 2, 6, 11 for wealth-related events)

The Moon's precise movement often marks the moment potential becomes reality.
